It symbolizes the cancer survivor, the yellow color indicates the illness and the need for continuity of care even after cure.

The lavender-colored ribbon

The ribbon in this color is a universal symbol for all types of cancer combined. It is used for symbolism in combating diseases. It is placed here on the patient’s right shoulder to symbolizing the efforts of hospitals and NGOs in supporting the patient in his battle.
